Loni's new RACK!

Not to be out-done by any other west coast bikes here in La La Land, Loni got a hankering this week for a little Frame Augmentation, as it were...

What can I do? Once a Californian always a Californian and Loni is just as subject to the media inspired nagging self doubt the rest of us Californian's deal with on a daily basis. Can I blame her? No. Do I kind of think her new rack is a thing of beauty? ABSOLUTELY! I know I know its hypocritical of me on the one hand to be criticizing and challenging the dominent body image stereotype we all have beat into us at an early age, and yet on the other hand stand slack jawed in amazement at how much BIGGER, and thus better her new rack is. I mean I know the old one while just a handfull was enough for us certainly enough for me. Sandwhiches, fruit, a warm layer when the going gets cold, arm warmers... the list of provisions from the old rack goes on and on, full of useful items any cyclist knows by heart...



But this NEW RACK....ooooof! I mean its everything the old little rack used to be and so much more! The old rack, while pleasing to the eye, was no real attention getter. But this new rack...well, just look at the pictures...



HUBBA HUBBA....



look at all that room left over with a 30 pack of domestic cans...well its enough for...



...A giant encyclopedic dictionary! And there's STILL room left over! woah.
Time will tell, but I think its going to work out just fine. Loni never really had what they call an "athletic build" anyhow...
