Its May 18th, the end of another 10 hour day in the shop, actually 16 out of May's 18 days in the shop for at least 10 hours each. Ok so one day in the yard for only 5 hours, but you get the idea.

TONS of bikes, tons of grease and degreaser, killed a few ex-tablecloths worth of rags, and have changed probably about 50 tires, and at least that many brake-pads, twisted a lot of spokes, and reset all the computers so our lovely clienti don't get too lost.

Its been a long few weeks, and there are more to come but tomorrow I sign off for a few days and take a little trip southwest to Napoli to meet up with the big month long tour, and tune and clean all their bikes, in a rented garage with Igor. I'm thinking it might be one of those shirts off, beers open, on your guard for the lurking southern thieves kind of weekend. I hear the mafia, who runs the trash collection services for the region are striking and the mountains of trash in the street make it feel a little third world. I'm excited for a dose of reality, more work, and some pizza the way the gods meant it to be.

Loads of pictures, and a few words to follow. Till then Ill be sharpening my switchblade and dusting off the denim vest to ward of thugs and stray dogs, while maintaining my winning personality for the visiting American tourists who are kicking ass on bikes for their vacation.

Scotty
