Ok, so its not as exciting as that sounds...Im flying to Bordeaux to meet with what remains of my boss Igor after he has manhandled 5 tours and several rentals all in conjunction with the Tour De France mess that descends upon the frogs this time of year. He and the rest of the crew should be thoroughly exhausted and so Im helping to load it all up and drive back in the vans. Its about a 2 day drive unless we get our hands on some trucker speed and take shifts. Kidding, I want to see France and Northern Italy if Im going to be driving for two days. It will be a good chance to know more about my co workers too...as only a road trip provides.
Here are the left over pics from the week to keep you salivating (the kind of salivating that happens right before barfing) for more...
Tuesday nite we again ventured into Faenza for the July street festivities/drunken shit show. Its super fun and after people watching for a bit, listening to african drumming, and boozing on some cheap wine we headed for Casa del Disco again...
always a good sign of things to come...
feisty already...
passionately talking to your spouse, ITALIAN style...

The night ended in me wrecking my bike on a huge curb on the way home...
Wednesday I spent the whole damn day posting on the blog...
Thursday a bike pick up in Asti, south of Milano...
Cool bridges on the A-1
this street got more narrow...then cars came at me from the other way...
I found a RAD place to jump in a river, which was my post lunch plan from the get go as its hot as hell out in Italy right now, and muggy...
a little off-roading in the van to get there...and when I turned around to get out of the water I was blocked in by these curious little freaks...
Driving back I crossed the 45th parallel...maybe someone can explain to me what that means...should I expect headaches and nausea...and if so I have just the cure!
mmmmmmmm, hot dogs.
good talk
