After just three days in Florida...

I have reconnected with Family, enjoyed a cold beverage with my Pops, got completely lost trying to navigate my way back from am open jam session at the local bike shop that turned pretty rowdy, shredded the local trails with the guys who built them on a borrowed bike, and been given a part time job in the local shop... not bad.  I would say I still got it....

reminds me a lot of southeast asia...

I thought they called it the Tank cause of an old grain silo or something, apparently its a real tank!

My Uncle Babes new dog Gizmo.

LONI rides again!

from the well protected bike lane.

I don't think its made by Park Tool but it IS their signature color...

aside from above adult props, blow darts and crossbows came out...good times

at least I was lost during a full moon

the WOSRT fitting bike I have ever had that much fun riding!  size 19 with a 120 stem...YIKES!

you cant tell from this shot but behind Johnny the trail loops back onto itself three passes deep, such a great use of space on a small piece of land.

No, Not an alligator, a dead armadillo...but Im keeping my eyes out and the dudes say it wont be long before I see one.  You will be the first to know when I do.  I might actually be able to make Florida my winter home...who knew!?

Notes From Colorado

With friends in the beer business and legal pot this town has certainly got its plusses.  For me though, its a handful of people that really make coming back to this town worth it.

the first night back Im hearing stories...

...cracking up while this guy tells about "accidentally" making out with a dude in drag on New Years Eve 2012

famous for bike paths

the contents of "Scotts Closet"

a box of photos of some handsome young kid

books full of crappy art

the comedy duo demonstrating how NOT to squeak the floorboard on your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night.  Prizes awarded for technique and style.

As much as I tried to get these lads to invite some members of the fairer sex, it was just the 4 of us.  Basically me and the Top 3 of Colorado.  I made pesto with ruccola and almonds, Panzanella, and a Bruschetta alla Putanesca.  Only Ethan knew what those were, but we killed it all!  Nothing like cooking for the boys, and JUST the boys.

for those keeping track, yes, that IS wine, spritz, beer, rye whiskey, and prosecco...genius

oh yeah, and shot glass tiramisu, nice touch I have to say myself.

another late night and the closest thing you can find to a proper digestif

Thanks to Casa Ho-Bogan for the hobo-spitality, to Stone Cold Colson for, well just being is loud, funny, and take no prisoners self, and to all the smiling faces I got to catch up with.  So great to see you all, and all doing so well.

GO BRONCOS!
