Notes From Colorado

With friends in the beer business and legal pot this town has certainly got its plusses.  For me though, its a handful of people that really make coming back to this town worth it.

the first night back Im hearing stories...

...cracking up while this guy tells about "accidentally" making out with a dude in drag on New Years Eve 2012

the comedy duo demonstrating how NOT to squeak the floorboard on your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night.  Prizes awarded for technique and style.

As much as I tried to get these lads to invite some members of the fairer sex, it was just the 4 of us.  Basically me and the Top 3 of Colorado.  I made pesto with ruccola and almonds, Panzanella, and a Bruschetta alla Putanesca.  Only Ethan knew what those were, but we killed it all!  Nothing like cooking for the boys, and JUST the boys.

for those keeping track, yes, that IS wine, spritz, beer, rye whiskey, and prosecco...genius

oh yeah, and shot glass tiramisu, nice touch I have to say myself.

Thanks to Casa Ho-Bogan for the hobo-spitality, to Stone Cold Colson for, well just being is loud, funny, and take no prisoners self, and to all the smiling faces I got to catch up with.  So great to see you all, and all doing so well.

GO BRONCOS!
